A team of game designers have donated a range of games to Home-Start North Wiltshire, a family charity, for their volunteers and the families they support to have fun with their children.

Gamely has donated 512 games donated to 16 Home-Starts across the UK – including Home-Start North Wiltshire.

Hazel Reynolds, Founder, of Gamely said: “We’re all about having fun and doing good. As well as bringing people together to laugh and enjoy spending quality time together, we are also trying, in our own way to give back and help others. This feels more important than ever as we slowly emerge from the pandemic.

“We give thousands of games to charities and good causes every year and are delighted to support Home-Start families. Our motto is to have fun and do good.”

Home-Start supports families with young children through tough times by matching them with a trained volunteer who visits once a week for two hours to help with whatever it is they need.

The charity supports families through a wide range of issues including postnatal depression, isolation, bereavement, physical disabilities, coping with twins, anxiety, financial worries and domestic abuse.

Dawn Wilson, Senior Administrator, of Home-Start North Wiltshire, said: “We are so grateful for the donation. It has been wonderful to hand out games to our volunteers and to some of the families we support. Playing games together is a great way for parents to spend quality time with their children and bond while having fun.”

Gamely is a Brighton-based family company which was founded in 2015 with a mission to ensure their games are environmentally and people-friendly. Made in the EU using sustainable resources, they use virtually no plastic. They also ensure 10 trees are planted for each one they use.

Their games include Soundiliculous, Jibbergiggle and Frozen Unicorns. Find out more here: https://gamelygames.com/our-team
