Recently the Home-Start UK BT partnership team reached out to let us know about a new scheme that aims to close the digital divide. BT is donating 2,500 Home essential broadband vouchers which give 12 months of free Wi-Fi. We have applied for a number of these vouchers.
We also work with a local company called Green Machine Computers Ltd to supply recycled laptops and tech to families we are supporting that need it. We also offer our office as a drop-off point for tech to be recycled. In this way, we are trying to help families bridge the digital divide.
