Thank you to Cody and Ben at The New Inn, Winterbourne Monkton for choosing us to be one of their local causes this year. (Thank you to volunteer, Rose, for suggesting us!). A 48-hour walkathon fundraiser was held on 31 May – 2 June with Rose (pictured below) completing a 2-4am stint! They raised an amazing £700.
Another fundraiser, “Cabbage Sunday”, is planned for 29 September and sounds great fun. The village (near Avebury) has also organised an Open Gardens fundraiser on 30 June where there will also be a plant sale in the Community Hall. All welcome!
